Lada Niva Cossack 1986 project.

This car has been stored by the previous owner in a dry garage since 1993 (according too dvla records on tax)

So it has no mot or tax and will need towing away.

It has approx 47000 miles on the clock and has had 4 previous owners the last since 1988.

After being stored for so long the front brakes are siezed, i have removed the pads so it can be pushed, the handbrake still works.

Ive got the car running but at present its fuel is supplied from a 1 gallon can in engine bay as the tank needs draining of old petrol.

Ive had many ladas and i can honestly say that the engine runs the best ive had.

the gearbox seems good but i have only drove on my drive the transfer box also functions as it should. The clutch is also good.

I brought this too do up to original condition, no lifts or offroading just a genuine classic Niva, as i believe this too be unique and totally original.

Ive never seen the cossack seat covers that come with it and the bullbars are different, is it one of the first cossacks????

Originally i believe this car would of been a 4 speed going by the sticker on the center consol, but a 5 speed has been fitted.

it comes with its original starmag alloys and 4x suzuki rims as pictured-some hold air some have no tyres on (pictured) 4 on car hold air.

This is a very old niva and as such has no rear seat belts no rear wiper has ever been fiited and i think this adds too its charm.

The body work is good with only one small hole in front nearside wing, the underside needs a wire brush with no obvious signs of welding being done or needed- there is surface rust underneath as too be expected and a few scabs on body as pictures but all in all its good, the tailgate is in very good condition.

The paint is repairable in my eyes but please dont expect it too be mint it is a 26 year old car..

I have not fully inspected this car and after standing for so long i would expect too find some lights not working etc and the heater squeels until warmed up so please dont come and pick flys--this is a project car and will take some work too get back on the road.

Im only selling as ive recently obtained a new project and i dont want this one too wait for my attention out in the rain.
